Our Favorite Festivals in Reading this June

The kids are home from school and the weather is great, what’s there to do in Reading? Plenty! Summer is festival season and it’s time to get out there and learn, eat, and experience something new!

Liederkranz Wurst Fest

Come honor German culture at Wurst Fest, serving any type of sausage from classic bratwurst to exotic varieties alongside pretzels, sauerkraut, strudels and more. Discover the largest assortment of bratwursts and German delights on June 8^th, 2024, from 5 pm to 10 pm at Reading Liederkranz. Entrance is free to members and $10 to non-members. Willkommen alles!

Spring Fiesta

Join us for a lively family fiesta showcasing Berks’ finest tacos! Muhlenberg Township invites you to Spring Fiesta 2024 at Jim Dietrich Park on Saturday, June 8th, from 11 am to 9 pm. Delight in fantastic food, refreshing beverages, vendors, live music, and a variety of entertainment, including bull riding and piñatas! Admission is free, so bring the whole family for a day of fun and flavor!

Art on the Avenue

Marking its 30th anniversary, Art on the Avenue is back in West Reading on June 15th! This renowned event highlights the talent of local and regional artists, businesses, vendors, and musicians. Recognized as the largest gathering in West Reading, Art on the Avenue transforms four blocks of North 6th Avenue into a vibrant display of various art forms. With over 200 vendors participating, this free event aims to reunite the local community in celebration of music, art, and food. Rain or shine, join us from 11 am to 7 pm for an unforgettable experience!

Berks Celtic Festival

Brought to you by the Berks Irish American Fraternal Association, the 18^th Annual Berks Celtic Festival promises to bring great music, entertainment, and food. The BCIAFA promotes the Celtic Festival as a fundraiser to acquire their own site – until then, the Berks Celtic Festival takes place at the Reading Liederkranz from 11 am to 9 pm on June 29^th. Early bird tickets are $12 or $15 at the door!
